Deadline Extended Until Oct. 17
To protect the safety of participants due to COVID-19, this year's CROP Walk Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest for Kids and Teens is going virtual.
Children and teens up to age 18, as well as families, are invited to create chalk art drawings inspired by the theme "Helping the Hungry, Making a Difference." Participants may use a sidewalk or driveway near their home or any other appropriate surface.
Entries may be submitted by individuals or teams. To submit your entry, just complete the form linked on this page and upload photos of your chalk design. The deadline for submissions is Saturday, Oct. 17. Parents must provide permission for their child to participate in the contest. Prizes will be awarded by age group.
“The sidewalk chalk art contest helps raise awareness about the impact of hunger and poverty on families,” said CROP Walk Co-Chair Brenda Wheelock. “Most importantly, it teaches children to use art and creativity to bring positive change to their world.”
Participants are encouraged to share photos of their work on social media with the hashtags #ClevelandCountyCROPWalk #VirtualCROPHungerWalk
If you have questions or need chalk, please call (405) 620-1305.
Complete this online entry form and enter up to five photos of your chalk art design. You may - with parent permission - include a photo of the artist/s along with the design. With your permission, we will share designs on our Cleveland County CROP Walk Facebook page.
